CityLit Project has much to celebrate as we close in on the final days of 2017, continuing our reputation of presenting high-quality literary arts programming for audiences throughout Baltimore and beyond. This year’s highlights include MacArthur “genius” Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie interviewed by WYPR’s Tom Hall at the CityLit Festival; photographer Devin Allen (2017 NAACP Image Award nominee) on the CityLit Stage at the Baltimore Book Festival discussing his acclaimed images taken during the Uprising; Ruby author, Cynthia Bond our featured CityLit Stage writer debuting her new work, Wishbone; and Jackie Downs and Derrick Weston Brown (pictured below) shedding light on the writing process in an interactive discussion with audience members at CityLit Studio II: Writers on Craft, Creativity & Community.
All of these programs were FREE and embraced a growing, inclusive community that values diversity, equity, and globalization.
