The first-ever "Afternoons with Authors" event, a series of programs presented by Enoch Pratt Free Library and CityLit Project, takes place Saturday, March 13, 2010. The event begins at the Pratt Library's Pennsylvania Avenue branch (1531 W. North Avenue, 21217) at 1pm.
Our vision is to host an "Afternoons with Authors" every quarter in roughly the four quadrants of the city to showcase that community's writers. Our objective is to give the community a sampling of the diverse work being created. We are pleased that some new friends from beyond Baltimore will be joining us this Saturday.
Dr. Walter A. Gill, the Urban Professor, will serve as emcee and introduce the authors. There will also be an opportunity for Q&A with the audience as well as a book signing.
