Get Those Submission Blues Cured at Creative Alliance

10/27/2010

Got those submission blues? Can I sell my novel on just an idea? How do I know which publishers to approach? And how do I get my manuscript read?

Elissa Brent Weissman demystifies the submission process for fiction writers, from targeting the right agents and editors to writing a query letter that gets you out of the slush pile – insider tips to help you land that book deal. Weissman teaches creative writing at the University of Baltimore and Towson University and in Johns Hopkins’ Odyssey Program. Her third Young Adult book, Nerd Camp, is due out from Simon & Schuster in May 2011.
This affordably priced, two-hour session represents one of "Write Here, Write Now's" new workshops focusing on professional development for writers.
