A Special Message from Poet Andrei Codrescu

Dear Friends of Literature,

Driving into Baltimore yesterday, I was reminded of the community of poets that I was part of here back in the early ’80s.  I am honored to be in town for CityLit Festival, the signature event of CityLit Project, which champions the literary arts in ways we only dreamed of thirty years ago.

In partnership with Pratt Library, CityLit Festival is now recognized as "a can’t miss event on the city’s cultural scene." It has garnered support from the city, the state, and – for the first time this year – the National Endowment for the Arts.

To carry on its mission, CityLit needs YOUR support, too.

Please take a moment to make a secure, tax-deductible contribution to CityLit Project by CLICKING HERE.

Thank you. I look forward to seeing you at the eighth annual CityLit Festival on April 16.
